Otters taking over the World November 27, 2007

Okay so they aren't taking over the world, but they were taking over the Monterey Bay Aquarium. They were so cute. all cudly and playing tag and marco polo in the water.

all three of these videos were taken on November 25th in the afternoon.  The first one is of the Sea Otters. These are the ones along the California coast. The toys they are playing with all had food in them, that the otters had to get out in order to eat. They thought this was great fun.

The next two videos are of river otters they are two different family groups. The first is some adults. These are From North America and one of the thirteen different kinds of otters world wide.

And the last one is some cute as can be adolesent siblings. frolicking in a napping spot after a long swim.

They were having a great time. By the way every one of the 13 types of river otters are either on the endagered list or on the watch list. They are losing habitat very fast and some have such a small area that is their habitat it is hard to imagine how they actually even survive.

They were all adorable…. What's that you say… otter mind control… I don't know what you are talking about.. now excuse me while I go get some halibut. ; )
